Unlike some of those Atom-based all-in-one systems that were recently launched by companies such as ASUS or MSI, the new Dell Studio boasts a higher performance Core 2 Duo-based configuration.

Additional features include support for up to 4GB of memory, a 750GB hard disk drive, slot load optical drive, 7-in-1 media card reader, six USB ports, integrated wireless, web camera and Blu-ray Disc.

One of the main features of Dell's new all-in-one PC is the support it brings for multi-touch technologies, which will offer users fast and easy interaction with the system's features. The Studio One 19 will become available at dell.com for a starting price of $699, on March 23. In some Japanese retail outlets the new all-in-one device is already available.

After having officially launched its new Core i7-based Studio XPS 435 desktop behemoth, Round Rock, Texas-based Dell has finally decided to allow its customers to purchase the new 10-inch Inspiron Mini netbook. The new Inspiron Mini 10 has just gone on sale in the U.S. with a starting price tag of just $399. Unfortunately, users will still have to wait for their purchased systems to arrive, as the preliminary ship date is April the 2nd.

The latest Inspiron Mini 10 netbook comes as Dell's response to the high number of 10-inch netbooks that have recently been launched on the market. It still boasts Intel's Atom platform, but provides users with some slightly different configuration options, including a new processor. In fact, the Inspiron Mini 10 is among those few netbook systems that allow users to choose from either a 1.33GHz Atom X520 CPU, running at 1.33GHz, or a 1.6GHz Atom X530. The difference between the two options will up the price tag by $50,over the basis of $399.

Other system specifications are pretty much what you would expect from a netbook, that is, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB, 5400rpm SATA hard drive. Aside from these options, users will be left with choosing the netbook's coloring theme. The basic Inspiron Mini 10 model comes with a black color option, but for an extra of $30 users will be granted the opportunity to choose between “alpine white,” “new cherry red,” “ice blue,” “jade green,” or “promise pink.” If you decide to go for the last one, Dell promises to donate $5 to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure charity.

Additional features include a built-in WiFi g connectivity option, integrated webcam and a 3-cell battery, which doesn't sound very promising if you are looking for a longer battery life.

The Dell Inspiron Mini 12 wil be available through select Croma Stores in India before the end of January fo Rs. 31,000 .

After much anticipation and a series of articles surfacing on the web, prior to the debut of this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dell has finally introduced its latest portable computer system, the Dell Adamo. Claimed to be the company’s response to Apple’s thin MacBook Air, or to the Envy notebook from HP’s Voodoo PC, the Adamo appears like yet another sleek-looking 13-inch notebook waiting to be embraced by all those tech fashionistas out there. There aren’t any specific technical details, but the laptop is expected to become available later this year.

Dell has launched the Studio XPS desktop - a premium PC that features the new ultra fast Intel Core i7 processor - in India.The Studio XPS desktop starts at Rs. 86,400 with 24" flat panel, 512MB ATI Radeon HD4580 graphics card, Blu-ray disc drive, built-in HDMI port and can be customized with a variety of complementary high-performance components.

Some of the benefits brought by Dell's new PowerEdge server lineup include delivering improved performance, using Dell's Dual HT link designs, which are said to double the available bandwidth between two processors for what AMD estimates to be a 12 percent improvement. In addition, the new Dell server systems provide a better power efficiency, which is likely due to the 45nm process technology used in AMD's new quad-core processors.

Dell has unveiled a revamped version of Inspiron Mini 9 netbook, dubbed Vostro A90. Designed for corporate users, the black-colored A90 possesses most of the same features as that of the Mini 9.

Design wise, the netbook has a very conservative and business looks. And it also has a host of different colors to choose from.

Powered by the 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, the Dell Vistro A90 netbook comes equipped with a 8.9-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels, a 1 GB RAM, a 8 GB solid state drive and Wi-Fi connectivity. The netbook is said to run on Windows XP operating system only.This redesigned computing device will initially hit the Japanese market for a suggested price of $999 (approx. Rs. 50,180), which is a little too much for a mainstream segment. No word on the release of the Dell Vostro A90 netbook in other countries.

Dell announced that Microsoft Corp. is working with Dell’s Data Center Solutions (DCS) division to build-out and power Windows Azure, Microsoft’s cloud services platform hosted in Microsoft data centers.

“Hyper-scale computing environments – where infrastructure deployments are measured by up to millions of servers, storage and networking equipment – are changing the way organizations are thinking about their data center requirements,” said Brad Anderson, senior vice president, Dell’s Business Product Group.

Rumored as on the verge of being launched since early last month, the new Inspiron Mini 12 netbook has now been released in Japan by the systems vendor. The first of its kind, in the sense that it is built with a 12-inch widescreen display, which can output images at a maximum resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels, the new Inspiron Mini 12 netbook is also based on Intel's Atom platform. The only difference is that it features a few changes over all those 9-inch and 10-inch netbooks on the market, including Dell's very own Inspiron Mini 9. Aside from the larger display, Dell's latest netbook can be equipped with either the Atom Z520 processor, running at 1.33GHz, or the 1.6GHz Z530 Atom CPU.It would appear that Dell decided to change some of the specifications on its most recent netbook, thus distancing it from all the other Atom-powered devices of the kind. Aside from the different processor, users will also get a different integrated graphics solution with the Intel GMA 500. Other specifications include a 60GB 4200RPM SATA hard drive, 1GB of DDR2 memory, and built-in Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g wireless connectivity. The netbook can be powered by either a 3-cell battery or a 6-cell battery priced at $79, the latter being said to deliver up to 6 hours of power.

The netbook is expected to hit the States sometime next month with a starting price tag that will settle under $600. Another detail worth mentioning is that the 12-inch netbook will be shipped with Windows Vista Home Edition, which, given the system's specifications, might not provide the required performance experience.

Dell has launched Remote Access an application that features a simple to use browser-based interface that lets people connect and access their favorite content via their network of personal computing devices including desktops, laptops, ultra-mobile devices, smart phones and web cameras.

The application is available for download at www.dellremoteaccess.com and will be available later this year as an optional pre-install on most Dell Studio, Inspiron, and XPS desktops and laptops.
