DXG USA today unveiled the new DXG-567V high-definition (HD) camcorder with direct uploading capabilities for sites such as YouTube. The DXG-567V, although not yet available in India, is not much bigger than an average mobile phone, is available in 4 colors including black, red, pink and sky blue, and is priced at just $179.The DXG-567V HD camcorder that offers 5.0MP, ships with all of the required cables including S-video for connecting the camcorder directly to a TV as well as composite video and rechargeable AA batteries.

Panasonic announced the waterproof SDR-SW20 camcorder at the CES 2008. Amazon.com is taking pre-orders for this robust camcorder for $399.99. The shipping date is February 29th (yes, there is a 29th this year).
