Korean-based Samsung has unveiled its first touch-screen mobile device, called the M4650.
With full Internet-browsing function, the phone also features a 2.8-inch LCD screen which doubles as a keypad and it can be used with a stylus pen.
According to Samsung, “The smartphone market is getting bigger in other countries thanks to the development of the wireless Internet infrastructure. We hope that the Multi-Touch phone will stimulate the smartphone market in Korea as well.”
The stylish phone claims to perform more powerfully than most others. It also has the ability to play terrestrial DMB (digital multimedia broadcasting) TV broadcasting. The hidden screen vibrator helps the phone to gently shake whenever the screen is touched for certain key input.
Samsung plan to sell the M4650 Multi-touch Phone for 500,000 won (approx. Rs. 22,000) through LG Telecom in Korean market.
