Samsung launches Guru200

Samsung Telecommunications India (STI) has announced the launch of its latest handset, the Guru200, which offers FM recording as a new feature in the entry-level segment, the company said. In February this year, Samsung had introduced the Guru100 handset.

The Guru200 is a sleek bar-type dual-band phone with stereo FM radio and a recording feature. With this handset, users can not only record songs from FM radio (max up to 5 minutes) but also save them as alarm or ring tones.
The phone offers multimedia features such as speaker phone, MP3 ring tones, and Java games (Cricket and Sudoku), and consumer-friendly features like emergency SMS, mobile tracker, 9-hours talk time, and several India-specific features. There's pre-loaded Bollywood ring tones, an Indian calendar that displays local holidays, a Hinglish database to enable users communicate in the popular blend of Hindi and English, and call time limit to allow users personally set a talk time limit per month.The Guru200 is immediately available for Rs 2,999.
