To boost the mobile broadband service, the company will use technology like High Speed Packet Access Evolution, also known as HSPA+ or Evolved HSPA.
The move to HSPA Evolution from the HSPA systems in needs a software upgradeto base stations, whereas LTE will require new base stations. At the other end, subscribers will need new hardware to take advantage of the higher speeds. Telstra is working with Sierra Wireless, Qualcomm and Ericsson to develop devices.
Reportedly, Vodafone is also considering making the move to HSPA Evolution. In February the company announced a trial with Ericsson, Huawei and Qualcomm. The market watchers state that most large operators will move to HSPA Evolution in anticipation of the next technology upgrade, LTE (Long Term Evolution).

Two whole years after they should have, Nintendo is finally bringing the Wii to India--or more accurately, allowing Samurai India and HCL to bring it to India--on the 30th of this month. There have been rumours circulating over this through the Indian distributors for months now, and note that there is no official confirmation of this news yet. However, the ANGRY pixel seems certain and breaks news that the Nintendo Wii is Indian-bound, and soon. The DS, that dual-touchscreened handheld of joy, will come along with the Wii as well. The Wii will be priced at Rs 19,990 (about $450!), and the DS for at 7,990. And here we were, thinking that the grey market prices were ridiculous. We wonder if this move comes a little too late--people who really wanted a Wii gave up waiting a long time ago, and were content with dropping Rs 15,000 on a console that should really cost Rs 11,000 ($250, remember?). We'd expected the launch price to take a swipe at the grey market price, but it looks like this is not to be. The DS, however, is a more reasonable Rs 7,990, and should compete with the PSP rather well. It too, however, has adorned the shelves of stores that took to importing the little handheld themselves. What might win people over could be clever marketing and retail store presence. Few can resist the waggle-wand that the house of Mario built. But we do believe that a price closer to Rs. 12,000 would have done wonders for the little white console in India.
There's also the question of whether the Wii will come in its NTSC or in its PAL avatar. When rumours first trickled over HCL bringing the unit to India, NTSC was being touted as the unit incoming. Indeed, the few retail titles that are officially available in India are NTSC games. For gamers, NTSC would be great news -- PAL releases, especially for titles under the Nintendo banner, are ridiculously delayed. It would do us well to be aligned with US release dates. We'll know better when the console finally launches.
For now, after two years of waiting for an official launch, wii're not that impressed with the launch price.

Open Banned Sites , Messengers , P2P Applications With Your Freedom

Are you trapped behind a firewall or a filtering web proxy and cannot access some or many web pages or use an application you would like to use or play a game you would like to play or use same old proxy sites to explore blocked contents ? Is your Internet connection being censored and you would like to stick censorship where the sun doesn't shine? Would you prefer to stay anonymous, that your IP address is not logged with every access to someone's web page? Then look no further, you've found the solution!
The Your Freedom services makes accessible what is unaccessible to you, and it hides your network address from those who don't need to know. Just download the client application and install or just run it on your PC; it turns your own PC into an uncensored, anonymous web proxy and an uncensored, anonymous SOCKS proxy that your applications can use, and if that's not enough it can even get you connected to the Internet just as if you were using an unrestricted DSL or cable connection -- just like the firewall suddenly went boom! You can even make your PC accessible from the Internet if you like. Nearly all applications work with Your Freedom, and so far no-one has managed to block our service completely and permanently without blocking your Internet access entirely.
Every day, more than 10,000 people in over 140 countries use this service, some because their government would rather not have them exercise their human rights, some because their school or university feels they are not mature enough to decide for themselves whether playing the odd game interferes with their studies or not, others because they don't want traceable IP addresses in every logfile. There are probably as many good reasons to use Your Freedom as there are restrictive firewalls in the world!
