Acer launches Aspire 8930G Gaming Notebook at Cebit

Acer, one of the worldwide leading computer solution providers, came at the CeBIT show in Hanover, Germany, with a nice range of products, among which we were able to spot a new Acer Aspire Gaming notebook, the 8930G. The machine is added to the company's lineup of gaming computers, and we have to say that it looks pretty impressive.

The Acer Aspire 8930G system is powered by an Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q9000, which features a core speed of 2.0 GHz, 1066 MHz front side bus, and 6MB of L2 cache. The notebook sports an impressive 18.4-inch display, full HD 1080p with Acer CineCrystal and goes along with an NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics solution.

In addition, the system comes with support for up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, while packing a 320GB hard disk drive. More specs of the machine include DVB-T digital TV tuner, Blu-Ray disk, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, HDMI (which also supports HDCP),eSATA, S/PDIF, four USB 2.0 ports, a 6-in-1 card reader, WiFi a/b/g/n, integrated webcam as well as VGA and gigabit Ethernet slots.

Users will be able to enjoy the five speakers and a subwoofer Acer added to the notebook to provide surround sound, while on the left side of the keyboard there’s a touch-sensitive control panel that includes media controls and shortcuts, also known as CineDash control system.

Among the other features that this gaming behemoth comes with we should mention the touchpad with Acer Bio-Protection fingerprint reader, easy launch buttons, the optional Acer Media Center remote control, Acer QuickCharge technology, Acer Crystal Eye cam, Acer Video Conference Manager, Acer FingerLaunch, MusicLaunch and other similar features, as well as a Kensington lock slot and an 8-cell Li-ion 4800mAh battery.
