almost all there is to know about ZN5, the new Motorola handset is still a mystery when it comes to its name and its full list of features.
Appeared over at Boy Genius Report, the new and unnamed yet Motorola is a slider phone, unlike the ZN5 which comes in a candybar form factor. Anyway, the slider has a 5 Megapixel camera (like the ZN5) with flash and video, but no auto focus (apparently). Now,this wouldn't be the first photo camera without auto focus, but it's among the few 5 Megapixel ones to lack this feature. Then again, the new phone can only be a prototype, and when Moto is releasing the final version of it, auto focus might also be included. But these are just speculations, and until something official comes out from Motorola, we can't know anything for sure.
We do know, though, that the recently unveiled phone looks pretty good and has a sliding keypad that I don't remember seeing before at a Moto handset. Moreover, if it is to believe the rumored specs of the new slider, Motorola packed in it the following features: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MOTOMAGX Linux OS, 100MB of built-in memory, microSD card support and quad-band GSM connectivity with EDGE. 3G seems to be left out again by Motorola, for reasons that we can't actually understand.
As in the case of all the unofficially unveiled mobile phones, details about price and release date of the new Moto slider are completely missing for the moment. But they should come out soon, and we'll surely be here to present them to those who are interested.
