Apparently competing with Asus’ Eee PC, Acer has released its latest series of laptop, named Aspire One in the American market. The ultra-portable range of notebook consists of Acer Aspire one AOA110-1722, AOA150-1570 and AOA110-1566.
All three Aspire One laptop models are powered by Intel Atom Processor N270 and have 8.9-inch WSVGA Acer CrystalBrite 1024 x 600 resolution screen. The common features of all three laptops are Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, Acer Crystal Eye web camera, 10/100 Mbps LAN, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi Certified WLAN, 3 USB 2.0 Ports and 4-in-1 Media Card Reader along with Acer’s PrimaLight technology to allow users to access laptop in low-light conditions.Acer Aspire one AOA110-1722 and Acer Aspire one AOA150-1570 share features such as 3-Cell battery, whereas Acer Aspire one AOA110-1566 incorporates 6-Cell Battery. While, AOA110-1722 and AOA110-1566 run on Linpus Linux Lite operating system, the AOA150-1570 runs on Windows XP Home operating system. The AOA150-1570 and AOA110-1566 model support SD Card Reader, whereas AOA110-1722 is compatible with SD Storage Expansion Card Reader.
In addition, the Acer Aspire one AOA110-1722 employs 512MB memory and 8GB SSD NAND Flash Module; the AOA150-1570 sports 1 GB Memory (512MB On-board) and 120GB Internal Hard Drive; and AOA110-1566 is equipped with 1GB memory and 8GB SSD NAND Flash Module.
Weighing 2.17 pounds and measuring 9.8 x 6.7 x 1.14-inches, Acer Aspire One laptop has reached the American market in two shades like sapphire blue and seashell white. Later this year, Acer will introduce two more colors such as golden brown and diamond black.
Acer Aspire one AOA110-1722 costs $379 (approx. Rs. 16,195), Acer Aspire one AOA150-1570 retails $399 (approx. Rs. 17,050) and Acer Aspire one AOA110-1566 is priced at $449 (approx. Rs. 19,187).
