MSI Wind

When the Eee PC was released late last year, Asus gave the world something that had never been done before - an ultra-affordable UMPC. Later, we saw almost every other manufacturer, right from industry giants like Acer, HP, Dell and Intel follow Asus's path to get a share of the sub-notebook pie (or Netbooks, as they are called now). With analysts predicting the year 2008 to be the 'Year of the Netbooks', we can only expect to see a lot more. But when the Eee PC was released, many overlooked its basic flaws like the cramped keyboard and small screen because there was nothing better to compare it to. At that time, even competitive models faced similar issues. Thus, the next target for manufacturers was to fix these flaws while trying to float in the similar price range. We have with us a model, which on paper claims to solve all those issues. It's called the MSI Wi-fi Network Device (i.e WiND). Let's see if the Wind is able to steal the Eee PC's thunder.
