Loiminchay Audio introduces its new speakers called the Degas which will be available in limited edition and said to offer extreme performance. The speakers are designed by Patrick Chu, who designs luxury quality Loiminchay pens. These speakers have been artistically crafted by his team in China. The speaker cabinet reveals sixteen coats of finest hand polished lancquer.

The Degas speaker comes with a stand-mounted monitor that brings life to your music. The enclosure has been fabricated with beautiful sculptured 30mm/1.2-inch Birch MultiPly laminate which has a sturdy internal bracing and supreme quality lamb’s wool filling.

The Loiminchay Audio Degas is capable of high-performance 6.8-inch ceramic midrange driver delivering excellent bass of 40Hz (ceramic tweeter) or 32Hz (diamond tweeter). The Degas has an elegant and hand-made stand fashioned of 25mm/0.98-inch Birch MultiPly which is sand-filled and has binding posts located at itssolid aluminum base plates. The speaker has a single wire with a silver internal wire harness as well as heavy-duty binding posts.

“Measurements are very important but only part of the story,” explains Patrick. “Everything makes a difference in the sound; the choice of drivers, the shape and density of the cabinet, how well it’s braced, the quality and quantity of the lamb’s wool stuffing, how the sound waves flow around the cabinet’s exterior surfaces, and even which lacquer finish you choose! That’s right, the two-way Degas in black piano lacquer sounds slightly different than a Degas with a MultiClear lacquer finish. It’s the same with the Chagall, and that’s why every pair’s crossover is optimized for the best possible overall sound.”

The Degas assures of delivering dynamic, passionate, and engaging music of all kinds. Its exotic design reveals good quality and rich finish. No word on pricing.
