The game that made graphics cards a must have years ago, is now ready with a sequel. We know because there's a new trailer of "FarCry2" although it's now a Ubisoft and not Crytek franchise. "FarCry2" will be available on the PC, PS3, and the Xbox 360.

The new trailer offers a behind-the-scenes look at the first-person shooter; it has footage of game play plus narration by Producer L P Pharand, Creative Director Clint Hocking, and Art Director Alex Amancia."FarCry", which debuted in 2002 and forced gamers the world over to wish for a faster, more expensive graphics card and CPU, took gamers on an action-packed adventure spanning a series of hostile islands. They played as Jack, former military agent who is tricked and becomes a castaway on the islands after sexy CIA agent Valerie deliberately blows up their boat. Gamers loved the game for its detailing and awesome graphics combined with a variety of guns and weaponry. "FarCry2" takes the game to the next level giving players the opportunity to kill the notorious villain, 'jackal'.

The sequel is based in Africa and apparently the makers went to Africa to get a real feel of their surroundings that include wild animals, the Savannahs, the woodlands, jungles, and so on. Unlike "FarCry", "FarCry2" is not based on the Cry-engine, rather Ubisoft's Dunia engine, the word derived from the Hindi-Arabic 'duniya' meaning world.
