Phillips has decided to officially bring out their 'iPhone killers' and add their names to a rather lengthy list of contenders for the title. Their handsets – the X800 and Xenium X-Connect are both Totally Touch Screen Mobiles.

The X800 is equipped with a 2.9-inch TFT touch screen with 240 x 400 pixel resolution and 262k colors. It supports external memory via microSD cards and comes with a 2 megapixel auto-focus camera. Other features include Bluetooth and handwriting recognition. According to the company, the X800 would be able to offer users up to 8 hours of talk time.Their second ‘iKiller’, as I like to call such handsets, is the rather snazzy-named Xenium X-Connect, which is a Windows Mobile 6 enabled handset. It’s equipped with GPS, external memory support (microSD) and of course Bluetooth and USB connectivity. This handset has a 3- inch TFT touch screen display. Sadly it lacks Wi-Fi.There doesn’t seem to be any sort of pricing on the handsets, nor is a there any info about their availability. Stay Tuned.
