MSI will release the Wind notebook in India by mid-June.
The company has named the notebook 'Wind', abbreviated from WiFi/WiMax Network Device. Weighing in about 1.2 kg it has a 10.2"-wide LCD display with embedded LED power-saving backlight technology to provide better color. Wind is equipped with a 2.5 inch, 80 GB standard hard drive, 1.6GHz Atom processor, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, Bluetooth, 1GB of RAM and Windows XP OS support.The Wind will also come in an 8.9" model but there isn't any info on that as yet.
The MSI Wind will be available at a price of Rs. 21,000.
