A company by the name of E-Ink has released a new update to their displays last week. It is based on the Segmented Display Cell (SDC) technology. Thanks to this, the screens are 40 percent thinner than their previous models. And the striking feature is their ability to be fitted in odd shapes. These displays are ultra-moldable and can be cut into unique shapes that can consist of curves and even holes. The first application of this display is the Delphi car keychain shown above. It's an ergonomically-shaped keychain that gives information about the car's status at a distance.

These displays are expected to be released later this year.
