The world is Google’s oyster and because of that it can afford not to hurry some of the products along, despite the fact that the market is craving for them. This is the case of the Google Base search engine, which gives its users (the companies) the option to register products, services and content online, alongside word descriptions for each, dubbed attributes. There’s some serious competition for it, though, a pretty new Australian search engine
that has the same things at heart decided to cut into the soon-to-be Google turf. clickfind was launched late into 2007 and it does pretty much what Google Base is said to be doing when launched. One difference: the amount of free uploads provided, 500 cash-free, but after that a monthly fee will be paid. clickfind told ITwire.com that "Google Base Australia is not available as yet! So, what do you do with your products and services in the meantime, where do you upload your products and services to while waiting on Google Base to come to Australia?" Obviously, you check their service out. The only setback the startup has is that its database is pretty much empty, and with nobody promoting or recommending your service, you’re not going to have to hire some assistants to deal with the overflow of requests.

Hi, I just wanted to rectify something in this article.
The following "the amount of free uploads provided, 500 cash-free, but after that a monthly fee will be paid." is not correct. The fee is $19.95 flat, and not free ;-)
Thanks
