BenQ has launched the BenQ-Siemens EF71 mobile phone in India, which boasts of dazzling looks and advanced sound features. The phone has received the iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award and the 2006 G-Mark Award.
The compact phone has a 2.2" TFT screen with 262,144 colors that provides crystal clear view even in sunlight. The EF71's FM receiver is paired with a built-in FM transmitter that lets users broadcast the phone's MP3 music to their home or car stereo without the hassle of cables or connection kits. The FM transmitter transmits the music being played on the phone's MP3 player to a close by radio, so that users can hear the music through the radio's speakers, which would be louder.
The EF71's music player is loaded with features like multiple audio playback support (MP3/AAC/AAC+/WMA), 10-band equalizer and 3D-surround sound. Users can perform all playback functions like play, skip, pause or stop, without having to flip open the phone. Users can even view the relevant details about the song playing on the external OLED screen.
Switching between functions like music player to camcorder and back is very simple with the EF71. The phone has a 2 MP camera that allows for unlimited video recording. With 30 frames per second and a 3x liner digital zoom, it provides quality footage. The night-mode option lets users capture scenes even after the sun has set.
This feature-rich phone has full expandability and provides easy connectivity to a laptop or computer via a USB cable. Once connected, this phone can be used as a Webcam. With a laptop and the new BenQ EF71, BenQ said users will always ready for an online videoconference even while on the move.
